  1. Please someone tell me how denying law abiding citizens the right to carry prevents crime and promotes public safety? It seems obvious that criminals want unarmed victims to safely rob, rape and murder. If crime and public safety are the major concern here, then an armed citizenry would promote both. Just commonsense.
