Tactical Fishing Shirts

I have talked about it in the past on this here gun blog that fishing shirts are the new hotness when it comes to a concealed carry shirt. The more I wear them the more I come to the realization that they may just be the perfect concealed carry shirt… they are cut just right (little baggy around the waist), they are inconspicuous when you are out and about, and on those dog-days-of summer they are much lighter and more comfortable than a standard cotton t-shirt. Dont get “boned” with your concealed carry choice

Revolver Carry – Speed Loaders vs Speed Strips

If you have been following along on the blog you will know that I recently picked up a Ruger LCR to become my primary EDC during the dog days of summer here in the south.

Well, with carrying a revolver its blatantly obvious that 5 rounds really isnt enough to be prepared for the worst. Carrying a reload (or two) is something I feel is a very important thing to do… Consequently – and seeing as this is the first time I have ever used a revolver as a primary EDC – I have been playing around with both speed loaders and speed strips.
