Gun Bloggers for Chipotle – I’m not going to boycott Chipotle…

Chipotle gun

Yeah, I said it. I too am not going to boycott Chipotle.

Hate me, flame me, call me a traitor… I don’t really care.

Yes, I support open carry, but I most definitely do not support the open carry crap that has been going on like we have seen at Chipotle, Starbucks, and Jack in The Box. I really wish they would cut the shit out.

(1) I do not approve of the nonsense that the open carry ass-hats are doing… so why should I stand behind what they did by boycotting Chipotle? Just because you are a dip-shit, attention whore does not mean that I have to boycott a business that you chose to piss off with your moronic behavior.

(2) Chipotle is not anti-gun, they are anti people that are creating a disturbance in their place of business. I’ve got news for you, they don’t want any political demonstrations of any kind in their business… they just want to sell those delicious burritos. Pull that same crap in a “pro-gun” business (Bass Pro, Cabelas, etc) and if it creates a problem for them doing business then they are going to ask you to leave also.

(3) You are not Rosa Parks, and you are most certainly not helping. Knock it off. The adults are trying to fight the civilian disarmament movement and what you are doing is counter productive and a distraction.

(4) Pull your self-righteous head out of your ass for just a minute and look at the fruits of your labor. Where are all your victories from this? Show me. Because all I see out of this is a lot of bad press and a lot of ground lost. Just by the virtue of the fact that this is proven to be a losing tactic – many times over now – it needs to fall along the waste side. Look at that picture at the top of the page. Look at yourselves. That is not the path to victory. Enough is enough. You can all stop “helping“.

Chipotle didn’t ban guns. They politely asked you not to be assholes and disrupt their business. I don’t think that is too much to ask. Therefore, boycotting Chipotle is nothing more than an act of siding with the open carry morons and their over-the-top behavior. I don’t side with you idiots.

Vote with your wallet? You bet I will.

  1. I’m not going to ban Chipotle. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to go out of my way to go there either. Not any more or less than usual. I prefer Freebirds over Chipotle so usually don’t go to that restaurant.

  2. Why on earth would you want to open carry an AR 15 in the first place? I carry my .45 all the time but you never see it. The rifle is intended for long range shooting not for showing off in a restaurant, I prefer people not knowing I’m carrying, that’s the whole idea. Thank God AZ has CCW w/o a permit! The fewer people who know you have guns the better off you are.

  3. Since Chipolte pulled their support from the Boy Scout Jamboree, have never set foot there.
