A couple of people mentioned this in the comments section the other day, and it really stuck with me. The suggestion being that we should completely deprive Piers Morgan of all the attention that he has been getting over this anti-gun binge that he has gone on.
Its a great point… I mean, every bit of the ratings that he is getting right now is because its all gun control civilian disarmament, all the time. I mean, is anybody really watching that clown other than we pro-gun folk? Would he be gone with the wind if people stopped acknowledging his presence? Would it silence his voice to stop replying to his insane arguments?
Personally, I think that it would have been a great plan from the jump, but now we are too far down the road to take that action. Although he does not have a huge viewership by TV standards (Yes, I just insulted your manhood, Piers) because he is on TV he does reach a heck of a lot of people. It also makes for great You Tube clips when someone who is well spoken and pro-gun squares off with him. So I think it behooves us to engage him and defeat his arguments with good old fashioned American reason. If he wants to give a voice to our side of the argument, then we should take him up on it. Use his platform and get our message out. He is easily defeated. We are, after all, on the right side of history.
