New Assault Weapons Ban is Coming

Feinstein has one in the works and it is being reported that she has  been planning to start pushing it if Obama got reelected… Doh!

Sen. Feinstein’s attorney is meeting right now with folks from FTB and ATF legal (Eric Epstein [legal], Todd Martin [Legal] and Earl Griffith [FTB] and others) to discuss a new SAW ban, that she would want to start pushing through as soon as (if) Obama gets reelected.

– – No pistol grip allowed
– – No HC Mags
– – No grandfathering
– – No sale permissible if in possession

It wont go through Congress with the R’s retaining control of the House… although, I am betting that they will completely abandon their obstructionist ways in fear of never winning another election again. If that is their sentiment, then it will certainly go through in this next session. If not, then if the R’s dont retain the house next time around it will surely get pushed through then.

I would also not be surprised if Obama just ignores Congress and goes through the ATF to essentially ban scary looking rifles through regulations. I’m not a lawyer, but I would bet that pushing through regulations on accessories, magazine limits, cosmetic features, etc would be well within the realm of what the ATF could legally get away with. I bet we are going to see a lot of this type of manipulation over the next four years in many aspects of our country, so dont be surprised if it happens with firearms regulations as well.

Hell, if he gets one or more Supreme Court appointments then he can pretty much write his own ticket and do whatever he wants. Including more totalitarian regulation on ALL firearms. What? You think his anti-gun, socialistic, activist judges are gonna stand in the way just because its not constitutional? Ha! Yeah right.

  1. Not on your life.We just won’t stand for it.

I predict that if Obama attempts to circumvent the Constitution on this, there will be a motion to impeach him in the House, and likewise, Feinstein’s wet dream won’t pass in the House, either.

Pressure, people, pressure. Keep the heat on your representatives.
